Hello! I’m here again! :p
Happy Mother’s Day! (: this year it’s different coz I’m actually considered a mother in church already and they are giving me free lunch! Ahha… Feels weird but oh well… :D
I sent my Mum a durian cake and Chris’ Mum a mango cake. My Mum’s reached on Friday but think the other cake is going delivered some time today. Hope it’s yummy.

Anyway, baby E has been kicking lots! Was quite amused at work when he just kicked non-stop for a couple of hours. I tried to shift my sitting position coz I thought I might have been squashing him but he just didn’t stop kicking. :/ he used to only kick just after my dinner but recently it’s just been all over the place. Thank God that I sleep like a log so I don’t actually get woken up by him. :p I think the uterus has expanded (haha) coz I’m starting to feel kicks/punches at the upper abdomensince last night! Haha, really strange.

Pregnancy has still been going well although the neck aches are starting to return but not in full force. That’s a good thing or else it’ll be pretty tough for me to actually function! Also beginning to get backaches when I stand/walk for too long (couple of hours). Pretty annoying. :/ other than that, all is good :D

One thing to thank God for is the fact that I’m gonna get paid maternity leave benefits! Wow. Haha.. I was planning to leave long ago but thank God that I stayed or else I’d never know that I get money even when I’m a casual plus free parking towards the EDD! (: more money is always helpful. Heheh… Then I’ll also get the government parental leave pay :D yay. Won’t be THAT broke after all… :p

Okie I better run! Cya!

Week 21

Hello!
Just had my 20 week scan today! It’s slightly more boring than the 12 week one coz they were looking more at the organs this time. It’s a boy! :D
Anyway, here’s the little Wong in 3D and also in the usual ultrasound scan..

The 3D looks kinda scary haha.. He has been moving quite a lot over the last 2 weeks. The sonographer was having a little trouble today coz he kept kicking!! Hehe.. She said that he’s got long limbs like his daddy. Hmm, just hope he’s not too big or else I’ll be in trouble :p

Oh well, anyway, it’s been a rather good pregnancy and I’m thankful every day. (: only trouble I had was with the neck aches at the start. WAY better after I went to see the osteo in Singapore. Starting to get heartburn nowadays especially after dinner!!! Might be coz my dinners are usually the heaviest meal nowadays. Been having sandwiches for lunch the last few days. Been addicted to sandwiches the last 2 weeks. Haha.. It’s a balanced diet!!! :D Hmm, should eat in smaller but more frequent portions and not have anymore spicy food. Feels terrible to have heartburn every day. ://// I guess it’s all worth it! Praying that he will grow up to be a good and healthy boy. Just 4.5 more months and I’ll know what he actually looks like. Excited! :D

Found out that there are 2 other pregnant women at work! Haha! Also found out some other friends are pregnant. It really is a baby boom year. LOL. Wonder if it’s anything to do with the dragon year. Most of us didn’t aim to have a dragon baby as far as I know. Well, I didn’t plan for E to be a dragon baby.

You’re probably asking, “What’s baby’s name?”. We’re leaning towards 1 name but we’ll see. We’re still deciding. ;p

We’ve purchased 2 items so far – a cot and a pram. The cot hasn’t been set up yet and the pram hasn’t been collected yet. It’s still on laybuy. Probably will pick it up soonish. Currently bidding on a foldable change table. We’ll probably end up having 2 change areas since the house is so longggg… It’ll be such a pain to have to carry him up and down just to change him! I’m not really planning to buy him clothes since my sis is passing Evan’s clothes to me. I’ll probably just need to get some for the cooler weather that we get here in Melbourne! Will wait for end of financial year sales to buy stuff and also might have a baby registry. ;p

Okie, time for bed! Night!!!!

Week 17

So I’m back in Melbourne. Quite happy to be back this time. Still not used to living with so many in the house and was getting annoyed for no reason. Quite stressful living with others sometimes.. Sigh! I should get used to it.. Will need to live with others at some point..

Anyway, hello.. I’ve got good news. Something that most might know already.. I’m 17 weeks pregnant! (: quite exciting. Should know the gender quite soon. Will be heading to the obstetrician for an appointment with him this Friday. Chris is coming along since he’s on leave. Yay. Hopefully the ob can tell whether baby is a girl or not already :D

We’ve got a few names but still not sure. I think we’ll take more time to decide. Don’t know the gender now anyway. We’ll be spending the next few weeks preparing the room. Fun stuff :D going for a baby show this weekend to see what we should buy. Glad I have Corrz and Ivy who are my predecessors!! Ahah.. (:

Will be heading to Myrtleford to spend our 3rd year anniversary. A little earlier this year since Chris is still on leave. We’ll then drive to Canberra to meet the in-laws.. (:

My Mum has been so busy with my new nephew Evan, my sis, confinement lady and the maid! Poor Mum.. :( hope she gets enough rest! Confinement lady had issues with her visa and the new maid is backing out now coz she’s too scared to take care of newborns! Sigh!

Getting late. Still in SG time though.. Will write soon to update about baby (: night!!!

Sigh

Really REALLY bad planning…. Rar.

For Sunday night!!! YAY! Hello Singapore again. Thank you my darling darling husband who is really giving up a lot just to go to SG to work for the month so that I can see my family and be with my sis when she pops!!! :D

Really thanking God for the freelance project and my portfolio project that I can do while I’m there.. PLUS the Daddy’s 60th birthday party project hehehe… :DDDD Yayy… Can’t wait, can’t wait! :D

Really wonder why people think that Chris and I are really rich and that we don’t have trouble at all with our finances. The truth is we do so please please stop saying that I don’t need to work, we can just ask for money any time from our parents, Chris earns enough to support, etc coz I’m tired of hearing it and AUDITORS DO NOT GET PAID WELL AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST TEN YEARS. We struggle like every other young couple, eat at home as much as we can to save money, have to pay huge amount of bills like everyone else. Just because our parents probably earn slightly more than some others doesn’t mean that we SHOULD take money from them. Besides, they earn in Sing dollars which is way lower than Aussie dollars which is what we are spending. Whoever who takes money from parents without feeling bad at our age should really feel terrible about themselves. They have to save the money for a rainy day too and should be spending it on retirement holidays!

Sigh…

Neck ache!!

So I’ve been having this horrible neck ache ever since I got back to Melbourne. Not quite sure why but it got worse the last 2-3 weeks. Went to see a physio today and he said that it’s my posture! My head tends to stick out when I sit down. I remember that my teacher back at Holmesglen used to tell me that I need to make sure that I don’t sit at the edge of my chair and have my head leaning forward so much. Eek. This is the price I have to pay now. Sigh. Been in PAIN for so many weeks. So thankful for my physio. :D He did some massages and taught me a few exercises to help relieve and strengthen. Hope it helps. Gotta see him again next week when I’m not at work or working from home!

I think the problem might be coz my home work station isn’t ergonomically setup! My chair is too low and when I look straight, I only view the bottom of my screen since the screen is raised AND I’m using a 27″! ;p Thinking of getting one from Milan Direct but not sure whether I should. LOL. I want to try it out first though. Hmm… Probably want one that will support the neck! Shall go find other places that sell office chairs to try first and then decide. (:

Oh, Chris was my hand model for the glove boxes that I’m doing for a friend’s Dad. Haha.. The gloves were a little big and wrinkly though. If he’s not happy with it (I know I’m not really), might have to buy stock photos. The photography is probably better than mine anyway. I love how Chris was so impatient and said “if you don’t finish in the next few minutes, you’ll have to pay me!” LOL….

Designing woes

HELLOOOOOO!!!!

Sorry, I know I have disappeared YET AGAIN. ;p Anyway, I’m kinda back. Hehe… I just got commissioned to do some work for a friend’s Dad and also have to design some stuff for Hope Melbourne Bible Conference so you’ll hear from me a bit more… I SHOULD really blog about the trip back to SG in Dec-Jan but haha lazy. Will try TOMORROW since I’m gonna be home but I’m meant to be preparing my folio… I should at least start gathering all my work so that I have STUFF to put on the site! Have to also draw up what I want! The annoying thing is that I lost the weblink to the site that I really liked and wanted use that inspiration! Praying that it’s somewhere in my bookmarks. Haha..

Anyway, HOW do you design a company logo that has a name that doesn’t let anyone know what it does… Haha.. There’s no theme at all. *sigh* *pulls hair* I’ve done about 7 concepts and have 3 final ones to show. Really hope that the client likes it! Scary to design for people that you know sometimes, especially ones that tell you that you have free rein to do whatever! PLEASE LIKE IT or at least tell me what you want to see… ;p Gonna send the file off to him in a few minutes and meeting him tomorrow! *prays* Once this is finished, we can proceed to designing boxes for the product and hopefully in the near future, a website!!! :D

Thank You, God for this project. Makes life more fun and makes me use my brains more. Hehehe… One step closer to working from homeeee…
